Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how RacketPad (the « App »), published by SAS LeadForge (« we », « our », « us »), processes information when you use the mobile application on Android or iOS. It complements any summary shown in storefront listings and applies together with Google Play policies where you install the App from Google Play.

1. Who we are

RacketPad is a scorekeeping assistant for racket sports (including pickleball, padel, tennis, and beach tennis). The publisher and data controller for personal data processed in connection with the App is:

SAS LeadForge — 4 allée de la Geffrière — 35600 Sainte-Marie — France
SIREN 932 450 927 · R.C.S. Rennes

Contact (privacy & general questions relating to these documents): support@racketpad.com

We do not operate a mandatory user account « login » inside the App today. Unless you voluntarily write to our support mailbox, most data remains on your device or is pseudonymous telemetry as described below.

2. Scope

This Policy covers the processing of information through the App, including local storage on your device, analytics and crash-related signals sent to Google Firebase when enabled, and purchase-related data handled by Google Play when you buy an optional subscription or digital item.

3. Categories of data

3.1 Data stored locally on your device

The App stores preferences and application state on your phone or tablet (for example default sport, theme, audio and display options, onboarding flags, and similar settings). It also stores your match history and statistics summary that you choose to keep, in a local database inside the device storage managed by the App (for example as structured data or JSON, within limits implemented in the App). This data is not transmitted to our servers for cloud sync by default as part of the core scorekeeping feature set.

You can delete local data by using in-App clear options where available, by uninstalling the App, or through your operating system application settings. Uninstalling typically erases local App data on your device.

3.2 Technical and usage data (analytics)

We use Google Firebase (including Firebase Analytics) to understand how the App is used in aggregate: for example screen views, feature usage, purchase funnel events, and stability-related signals. These events are generally pseudonymous and tied to an installation identifier generated by the platform or Firebase rather than your name or email, unless you explicitly contact us and provide an email.

3.3 Purchases and subscriptions

If you buy a subscription or other digital product through Google Play In-App Billing, Google processes payment data. We receive limited information such as purchase tokens, product identifiers, subscription status, and related transaction metadata necessary to unlock Premium features. We do not receive your full payment card number; Google acts as the payment processor.

3.4 Support communications

If you email support@racketpad.com, we process the content of your message, your email address, and technical details you include (for example device model, App version) to respond to your request. We keep such messages only as long as needed to handle the conversation and any related legal, accounting, or security requirement.

3.5 Data we do not intend to collect

The App is not designed to require a photograph of your face, precise geolocation, or your contacts. We do not operate third-party advertising networks inside the App as of this version. If that changes, this Policy will be updated and, where required, additional consent will be requested before any advertising-related processing begins.

4. Purposes of processing

We process the above data in order to:

  • provide the core scoring, audio announcement, statistics, and related features;
  • operate optional Premium entitlements and restore purchases;
  • secure the App, prevent abuse, and debug technical issues;
  • measure product usage in aggregate to improve usability and performance;
  • comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms;
  • answer your support requests.

5. Legal bases (EEA / UK / similar)

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on:

  • performance of a contract (providing the App and features you activate);
  • legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights (security, anti-abuse, product improvement, aggregated analytics proportional to risk);
  • your consent where we ask for optional processing that requires consent under local law;
  • legal obligation where a statute mandates retention or disclosure.

6. Recipients and subprocessors

Data may be shared with processors strictly as needed:

  • Google LLC and affiliates (Firebase, Firebase Analytics, Google Play services, possibly Google Cloud tooling subject to configuration);
  • Stripe or payment partners only if explicitly integrated later (not applicable to typical Google-only billing flows described here).

Those providers act under their own agreements and certifications. Links: Firebase / Google privacy documentation and Data Processing Terms as updated from time to time.

We do not sell your personal data.

7. International transfers

Our company is established in France. Providers such as Google may process data in the European Economic Area and in other regions (including the United States). Where data leaves the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised by regulators, such as Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures when required.

8. Retention

  • Locally stored App data: remains until you delete it, reset the App where available, or uninstall the App from your device.
  • Analytics identifiers: retained according to Google Firebase configuration and anonymisation settings; you may reset advertising or analytics identifiers at the operating system level where applicable.
  • Support emails: kept for the time necessary to handle your request and any follow-up dispute, accounting, or legal obligation.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit for network communications initiated by reputable SDKs, access limitation, vendor security updates, and platform sandboxing offered by Android and iOS. No method is 100% secure; please keep your device operating system patched and locked.

10. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including access, rectification, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent for consent-based processing. To exercise GDPR-style rights relating to processing we actually control when you interact with SAS LeadForge, email support@racketpad.com. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (for example CNIL in France for residents falling under its competence).

Certain rights apply directly against Google Play or Google accounts for billing data retained by Google: please consult Google Help for account, purchase history, and device settings.

11. Children

The App is intended for a general audience of sports players and organisers. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your territory) for collection of personal data beyond what is strictly unavoidable for storefront delivery. Parents or guardians who believe a minor provided data inappropriately may contact support@racketpad.com.

12. Automated decision-making

We do not use fully automated decisions that significantly affect your legal situation without human review inside RacketPad for consumer scoring.

13. Changes

We may update this Policy periodically. When we publish a new « Last updated » date, please review changes. Important changes may additionally be surfaced via in-App notices or store release notes when practical.

14. Links and third-party services

The App may occasionally open linked resources (such as Help pages, email clients, or the Play Store subscription centre). Third-party terms and privacy notices apply separately when you interact with those services outside our binaries.
